Multi-generational wholesale distributor Texas Enterprises, Inc. (TEI) has announced a new acquisition to their market-leading umbrella of companies: Hotsy Carlson Equipment, which has supplied industrial cleaning solutions to central Texas and the Hill Country since 1974.
Founded in 1921, Texas Enterprises is a fifth-generation family-owned and operated company with offices in ten locations across Texas and New Mexico. A best-in-class wholesale distributor of lubricants and fuel, TEI has grown steadily over the years through its acquisition of a diverse roster of powerhouse companies across five divisions. These include Allied Sales Company (industrial lubricants distribution), Golden West Oil (oil and lubricant supplier), Kapalua Fuel & Marine (marine petroleum products wholesaler), Triple S Fuels (retail fuels) and United Oil & Grease Company (24/7 fuel delivery and service).
With an industry-best slate of product offerings and a core commitment to both customer service and employee welfare, TEI is a natural partner for Hotsy Carlson.

Not only are the two enterprises well suited from a business standpoint, but the merger is also a great match, geographically speaking. TEI is headquartered in Austin, and Hotsy Carlson recently moved into a new headquarters in East Austin. Hotsy Carlson Equipment further maintains a branch in Bryan/College Station and a location in Killeen.
Since 1974, the company has been located on Nuckols Crossing Rd, previously the site of a dairy farm. In spring of 2022, a move to a new headquarters at 4711 E 7th St will be completed. The new location offers customers and employees easy access from Highway I-35 and more accessible parking. The larger warehouse can accommodate significantly more inventory of cleaning equipment sales and rentals. Secure and covered storage of trailer-mounted pressure washers is another benefit to customers needing service and repair.
Hotsy Carlson recently hosted an annual Customer Appreciation Day. A tradition celebrating its eighteenth year, Customer Appreciation Day is a chance for this local business to celebrate its clientele and give back to the community.
